Come pray and read the Bible with the First Baptist Church of Nashua
Please join us on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM for Prayer Meeting and a Bible Read. The prayer meeting is a time for spiritual reflection, personal and corporate prayer, and the singing of hymns of praise to our mighty God and Lord Jesus Christ.
Each week during the Bible Read, we will read passages from the chapters of the week out loud together — moving quickly, as this is a broad reading effort and not an in-depth study. Several sources will be provided to be used for interpretation of difficult passages. If you have a concordance, commentary, or any Bible reference, feel free to bring them to the Bible Read. We’ll read the NRSV translation when together, but feel free to use your translation of choice on your own.
The First Baptist Church, a mainstream American Baptist Church, is an open and inclusive community of faith. All interested participants are encouraged to attend. Alternate view points are welcome in this setting.
