Outreach

For more information regarding any of the First Baptist Church Community Outreach ministries, please contact the church office at (603) 882-4512. The following is a summary of the various Community Outreach ministries and activities:

Crop Walk

Each year, the First Baptist Church participates in the Nashua area Crop Walk to fight world hunger.

The Crop Walk is directed by Church World Services, and all people in the community are invited to participate by obtaining monetary pledges of support to fight hunger and by walking 6 miles through the streets of Nashua.

Twenty-five percent of the proceeds go to fighting local hunger by dividing the funds between Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, The Salvation Army, Nashua Pastoral Care Center, and the Saint John Neumann Food Pantry.

The balance of funds goes towards fighting hunger in the global community.

Food Pantry

First Baptist Church maintains a food pantry of household needs including food and various items of necessity for those in need.

The Food Pantry is sustained by donations from the church on the first Sunday of each month.

Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network
