“May God’s glory fill the whole earth”

— Psalm 72:19

First Baptist members seek to obey Christ’s final command to His followers, namely, to make disciples of all peoples everywhere. We have pledged to give 10% of our annual budget to the United Mission of American Baptist Churches, USA. We help to support financially and prayerfully approximately 150 American Baptist missionaries and mission partners in more than 70 countries around the world. Special offerings for ministries of evangelism, discipleship, Christ-like ministries of healing, and equipping of pastoral leadership increase our commitment to acting as Christ’s followers.

First Baptist members further support Christ’s mission by participating in the local CROP WALK for hunger relief, providing help and resources for victims of natural disasters, Blankets & Tools of Hope mission offering through Church World Service. Our mission outreach is further enhanced by our membership in the Greater Nashua Interfaith Council. We are committed to being a Host Church for the Interfaith Hospitality Network, which will provide shelter and job training to young families who find themselves homeless.

Matthew 25: 35-36

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was naked and you gave me clothes”

Each month on Communion Sunday we receive our Gifts of Food Offering. This food is taken to the Nashua Pastoral Care Center to be distributed to those in our community who are in need of nourishing food.

Twice yearly we receive our Gifts of Clothes Offering. Our donations are taken to the Upper Room Compassionate Ministries in Nashua.
