Organist/Choir Director

FBC currently has an exciting opening for a part-time Organist/Choir Director, effective immediately.  This position will provide music and direct the chancel choir at services regularly scheduled on Sunday mornings and other special services during the year. This includes selecting appropriate organ, choral and service music in consultation with the pastor.

The First Baptist Church of Nashua, NH is an open and inclusive community of faith where we hope people will “Experience grace, not judgment” as they develop a relationship with God.  Our congregation is diverse and we enjoy a “blended” style of worship and music.  We love both a fabulous Bach Prelude on our magnificent “tracker” pipe organ built in 1902 as well as a contemporary praise song accompanied by a piano, acoustical guitar and drums.  We have a dedicated chancel choir and numerous capable vocal soloists and instrumentalists.

Compensation is negotiable, depending on skill, experience, and education.
