Thank you for finding us!

We wish you and our friends of all faiths a wonderful holiday season. We've had a busy Christmas season here including a Winter Solstice celebration and a moving Christmas Eve candlelight service.

I invite you to join me Sunday, December 30 at 10:30 a.m. as we look to the new year. My message will be "What Does Your Soul Long For in 2019?" We all tend to make resolutions and intentions for the new year but what do you truly -- in your heart of hearts -- long for in your life? That's what we'll be considering on Sunday. It would be my great privilege to meet you.

Who are we at First Baptist? We're a diverse faith community traveling together on an amazing spiritual journey. We don't claim to be perfect but we do have a passion for caring about others and making a difference. We love children and believe that they are not only the future of the church but also the church now. We have a long tradition of standing up for issues of justice and equality and proudly proclaim that we are an open and inclusive community.

You see, we're not the typical Baptist church! If you have more questions than answers, if you believe that God continues to inform and guide us, and if you feel called to act justly and love mercy, come and see us.

It will be our pleasure to welcome you!
